Western PASSHE Low Brass Consortium

The 2010 WPLBC was a success!  Check back for information on 2012.

The Western PASSHE Low Brass Consortium is a learning community of low brass majors from the western Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education universities.  The objectives of the consortium are:
  • To establish a new learning community among the PASSHE universities in Clarion, Edinboro, Slippery Rock, and Indiana
  • To increase inter-university interactions resulting in student-to-student interactions that contribute to their professional development
  • To feature guest artists, faculty, and students in master class and recital settings
The inaugural conference in 2010 will feature guest artists Natalie Mannix on trombone, James Jackson on euphonium, and Deanna Swoboda on tuba.
